| PASKUQAN
A Christian Community Centre has been built in
Paskuqan on the outskirts of Tirana and functions
as a base for community activities, language classes,
distribution of humanitarian aid, and base for
local church. Over the past three years the local
school in Paskuqan has been re-roofed, had new
windows installed and generally been upgraded
by a team from the Wirral, UK, who sponsored and
worked on the project.
FUSHE-ARREZ
The Kings Church in Fushe-Arrez, headed by Ben
& Katharine Delia, have recently completed the
first floor of a Community Centre which will house
the church, children's clubs, day nursery, and
computer and language school. It will also be
a centre for community activity and humanitarian
action to the village communities surrounding
this remote northern town.
Ben & Katharine are actively raising money for
the continuation of this project.
SHENGJIN
Shengjin is situated on the Adriatic Coast of
Albania. It is a port, but also has an excellent
sandy beach. During the hot summer months the
beaches are packed with both local people and
tourists.
Rachel Wilson, a LightForce worker, runs a children's
mission in Shengjin. In the summer she conducts
outreaches on the beach with games, music, drama
& craft activities. During school term times she
teaches English to both children and adults and
has a regular children's meeting.
ISHULL-LEZHE
A small church planting work continues in the
community of Ishull-Lezhe.
