HOMELESS CHILDREN FEEDING PROGRAMME – MUMBAI

Vision Rescue Logo300,000 children live on the streets in Mumbai. By the time they are eight to nine years old many are totally out of control and destined for a life of crime, sexual abuse & prostitution. Most of the children beg – but pass the money to someone for whom they are just a slave.

A small boy lay on the floor drinking milk from the teat of a dog! That was the picture in an Indian daily newspaper. The caption read “This dog is his mother”. Moved by this, our friends Biju & Secu Thampy want to go and help these needy children in Mumbai.

Vision Rescue is providing informal education and a hearty meal for street children each week day.

Will you help us by sponsoring a child for £5 a month?

Greetings! We had a super time at the Lezhe facility. The food was better then our expectations. The campus is still wonderful. The young people love the seaside. It was a great week. Thanks for working with us. Your people are positive. God bless.

We want to thank you for letting us using your camp in Ishull-Lezhe for in August 2009. We had a good time there and I appreciate your work and your staff's work, It was our pleasure to come back in that place and enjoy the relaxing time and the beach close by. One more time I thank you and see you soon.
-Beni, The youth leader
